Famous in a Flash

Jenn Hoffman is living a life most of us can only dream of. Working in Los Angeles as a professional photographer, shooting some of the hottest people on the planet whilst getting paid for it, and making friends with celebrities such as Janice Dickinson - life doesn’t get much better then this.

Connecticut born, North Carolina raised, Jenn Hoffman attended the School of Communication Arts in North Carolina where she studied digital media, graduating in 2005. Her love of photography started at a young age – she’s made herself a nationally recognised name and she’s still only 22. She started out with a Tony camera and a good model, and her interest grew and grew as she taught herself and learned from other photographers, developing her skills through observation and natural talent.

"I have been doing this all-in-all for about 5 years since I was around 16/17 yrs old. I kept building a network of people, mainly through MySpace, ModelMayhem, and word of mouth. The network just keeps building and building, and I just keep pushing through the obstacles (and believe me, there are many in this industry) and just kept shooting. Every shoot I do, is a learning experience for me."

Jenn is quite the commodity in Los Angeles, getting interviewed for ‘Next Hottest Model’ online magazine and earning herself a reputation to be proud of - in L.A. and nationally across the U.S. The list of publications she has been published in is wide and varied, ranging from Rive Magazine, Ohlala Magazine, Refresh Magazine, to J’Adore Magazine. She shoots for modelling agencies such as LA Models, Q Model Management, PEAK Models and Talent, iModels and Talent.

On an ordinary work day, Jenn spends 4-5 hours a day shooting models, depending on how many wardrobe changes are required, and then goes home to do retouches and send in the proof sheets. She is lucky enough to have models as close friends and holds a symbiotic relationship with them, they pose for her, and she shoots their portfolios – win win!

Jenn is an ambitious girl, already evident in her achievements to date. Her goals for the next 5-10 years include owning her own loft and running a studio from there. Her work is her passion and comes across in every word she speaks:

“I have been given the chance to photograph some amazing people and also a few celebrities here and there, one most known is Janice Dickinson. I have been so blessed to have gotten in this industry and I am looking forward to capturing more beauty in this world.”

A shining star, and one to watch out for, Jenn seems capable of taking on the world…and winning!
